If you or anyone you know is thinking about getting chicks or laying hens, please call Tamara Pugmire at 503-363-3293. The "Chickens In the City" bill passed successfully so West Salem residents can now have their own backyard hens. They make great pets, will naturally rid your garden of pests, and provide wonderful eggs. Tamara has chicks hatching now that will be available soon. Reserve yours now. You may raise them yourself or take them home as tame, gentle adults ready to start laying for you. She can help guide you as to coop selection and general care.

Sunday Clothes Needed
Dear Sisters,
The West Salem Branch is in need of clothing that is appropriate for church. There is a special need for dresses or skirts. If you have church appropriate clothing in good condition (for men, women or children) that you could donate to the Branch, please bring it to church, or bag it up and bring it by Jenny Gates'.
